How to Update a Proposal on Workeet
If you need to update a proposal you previously sent, the process is simple and can be done directly through the chat with the client. Here are the steps to update your proposal:
1. Click on the job you want to update the proposal for
Access the link “My Orders” in the Dashboard and contact the client by clicking the “Send Message” button.
Access the chat with the client where you will discuss any necessary adjustments or new information about the job.
2. Click on “Send Updated Proposal”
At the top of the chat window, you will see the button “Send Updated Proposal”. Click it to start updating your proposal.
3. Fill in the Updated Proposal Details
- Updated Proposal Value: Enter the adjusted amount for the job if there are changes in the budget or scope of the project.
- Payment Options: Choose the desired payment method:
- Pay in Full: You will receive the total amount after completing the work.
- Pay by Checkpoint: If the client chooses to pay in stages, you will receive the amount after completing each phase of the work.
- Number of Revisions: Set how many revisions the client can request during the process if adjustments are needed.
- Delivery Deadline: Enter the new deadline for delivering the work if there are changes in the time needed to complete the task.
- Select Delivery Time: Select the number of days or weeks for delivery as agreed with the client.
- Comments: Add any additional comments about the proposal, describing specific details or adjustments that may be relevant.
4. Review and Send
- After filling out all the fields, review the updated proposal.
- Click on “Close” if you wish to cancel the update or “Send Updated Proposal” to send the new proposal to the client.
Important:
- Before sending the updated proposal, discuss the requirements and budget with the client to avoid misunderstandings.
- If the payment is made by checkpoints, you can skip the comments section.
Now, with the updated proposal, you can ensure that all conditions are clear to both the client and yourself.
