How the Client Can Interview a Freelancer on Workeet
Interviewing a freelancer before accepting a proposal is an excellent way to ensure the professional understands the goals and expectations of your project. Follow the steps below to conduct the interview:
1. Access “My Jobs”
In the Dashboard, click on the “My Jobs” link and locate the job for which you want to interview a freelancer.
2. View the Received Proposals
Click on the “View Job” button to access the project details and go to the “My Proposals” tab, where all the proposals submitted by freelancers are listed.
3. Select the Freelancer for the Interview
Choose the freelancer you wish to interview and click on the “Conduct Interview” button. Write your initial message and click on “Send Message”.
4. Converse via Live Chat
The live chat will allow you to converse directly with the freelancer to clarify doubts, align expectations, and discuss project details.
- Use the conversation to explain the project scope, deadlines, budget, and other important details.
- Ask about the freelancer’s experience, their ideas for the project, and any other relevant information.
5. Decide the Next Step
After the interview, you can:
- Accept the freelancer’s proposal directly if you are satisfied with the conversation.
- Reject the proposal if the freelancer does not meet your expectations.
- Pre-select the freelancer by clicking on “Add to Selected List” to keep your options open while evaluating other candidates.
